Adding a New Customer
The Add Customer page allows administrators to create a new customer account in TextGem. The setup process is divided into three simple steps: entering customer information, creating login credentials, and configuring notification preferences.
Adding a New Customer Overview
The customer registration wizard guides administrators through the complete account creation process. Each step must be completed before the customer account can be successfully created.
Step 1 – Customer Details
The Customer Details section is used to enter the customer’s basic account information.

Required Information
Complete the following fields:
Providing accurate information ensures the customer account is created correctly.
Enter Customer Information
First Name
Enter the customer’s first name exactly as it should appear on the account.
Last Name
Enter the customer’s last name.
Email Address
Provide a valid email address that will be associated with the customer account.
Mobile Number
Enter the customer’s mobile number, including the appropriate country code.
This number may be used for account communication and SMS services.
Date of Birth
Select or enter the customer’s date of birth using the required date format.

- DD/MM/YYYY
Ensure the entered date is valid before proceeding.
Select Gender
Choose the customer’s gender.

- Male
- Female
Set Customer Status
Choose whether the customer account should be active immediately after creation.

- Active – The customer can immediately access the platform.
- Inactive – The account is created but remains disabled until activated.
Step 2 – Password
The second step allows administrators to create login credentials for the customer.
